At Victours we are committed to respecting your privacy. In addition to our longstanding practices, we have developed the following privacy policy, in order to comply with the Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. This legislation recognizes the right of privacy of individuals with respect to their personal information.

What is Personal Information?

Personal information is information about an identifiable individual. It includes your full name, address, telephone number, date of birth, email address,and any other information that identifies who you are or would allow someone to contact you. Personal information only becomes known to Victours-Intl when you provide it to us.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

If you would like to deal with us to book a flight, a vacation package, a hotel or car, join a mailing list, or enter a contest that may be offered by Victours-Intl from time to time, you will be asked for the following information:

• Booking a Flight: When you book a flight with us, we will ask for your gender, name, address, email address, phone number, and credit card information. We collect this information in order to process your request for travel services or to process refunds. We need your gender because airlines use this information to determine the weight and balance of aircrafts. We may also use your personal information to contact you about your flight booking or anything that may affect your flight booking, and to notify you that any credit that you have with Victours-Intl is going to expire. Victours may also use your personal information to contact you about your travel patterns and your experiences when dealing with us.

• Hotels and Car Rentals: If you book a hotel room and/or a car rental, you will be asked for your name, address, phone number, email address, and credit card information. This information is used to confirm the hotel and/or car rental for you.

• Promotional Contests: Victours may offer various promotions from time to time. When you enter a promotional contest, we ask for your name, date of birth, address (email and/or residential) and phone number so that we may communicate with you in the event you are a winner.

• New Use of Personal Information: Should Victours wish to use your personal information for a purpose not contemplated at the time of initial collection, such as additional services, products, or promotional offers that may be of interest to you, we may use your contact information, including your email address, to ask for your consent to use your personal information for the new purpose.

• Disclosure: Victours does not sell your personal information to third parties and does not disclose your personal information except as may be required to process your request for travel services, such as hotel and car bookings, or as required by law. In short, we don’t sell or share our mailing list.

• Security: Victours has in place security measures and procedures to ensure that your personal information is protected from misuse and from unauthorized access. However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We cannot ensure the security of the information you transmit to us over the Internet.
